(Work in Progress)
Ever since I started tinkering with MS-DOS on my parents old 386 SX-16 PC in the early 90’s I have been a PC Gamer, I always loved that you had to know ‘stuff’ to do anything with them as it was never easy. Having to juggle what you load into memory to play a game might have seemed like a pain for some people, but I just liked the challenge. Even building them was more fun when it was more difficult!
Between then and now consoles have come and gone but the PC was still always my home, even though Windows made things easier I still loved the customisation that PC’s allowed you to have and not to mention how PC was always pushing games tech. I did own and play the usual consoles, NES, SNES, MEGADRIVE, N64, Gamecube, Dreamcast, XBOX before arriving where we are now with XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3. Yep, my first PlayStation was the PS3… and probably last. This generation I am sticking to PC and Xbox One.
But even these days the PC is still my platform of choice, if I can help it I will always play games on PC over my console. This blog was created so that I could write/rant about what I get up to in games and generally about things happening in the video games industry where I have also worked for about 13 years now.
I am currently working at The Irregular Corporation.
